I just bought a trailer (caravan). Any "words of the wise" veteran Rv'ers? .. .. What advice cough Tips ...
I just bought a 1994 29 'Jayco Eagle RV, Class C. I bought some things for (the chemical building blocks commodity pipe upgrade etc, etc), but I hear the advice RV'ers veterans, such as: What elements are the ones that? Great campsites? Driving Tips ... Does anyone have lists check to set up and things to do before leaving the site? Where I can take for an oil change? (It is 12 'high) has to be the winter if the temperature. never reaches the freezing? How-tos for cleaning, maintenance, etc. Anything you think would be useful in this rookie! PS) I live in Los Angeles, so if you know of local resources allow me to knowledge. Thanks!
driving and parking practices ---. The practice of changing a tire. Sounds silly, but believe me, try this first on the side of a busy highway at night to find the spare tire is plane and its hydraulic cylinder is not large enough to lift the RV is really irritating. Buy a battery charger, low cost (about $ 30.00 for a decent) and stores it in the RV. My father did because he already has 12 V lights left on all day and has drained the battery almost postal. Very nice to be able to connect to camping to connect and charge the battery overnight if necessary. You will have plenty of fun in your RV - mostly because you probably do not spend 150K for it! Usually borrow from my father and I was nervous at first but soon discovered that most of all the demons out of your way when you see it coming (probably because of all that deflect and roll). It was not long before I was driving the monster more than one title, not economic bridges, dirt roads backcountry, mountains, etc happens that I was out of town was occupied (as Metro Atlanta -! GAD) and NO French Quarter fun.
