Recreational Vehicle Traveling

Buying a recreational vehicle (travel trailer) any tips?
Me and my husband are looking at buying our first travel trailer. Are there any basic things we need to look for or tips anyone could give? We are thinking an '05 or '06 and no more than a 32'... thanks in advance for any advice!
Yes, if buying a new one, please take the time to read and understand the warranty, what is the responsibility of the seller, and who pays in case of road failure.
Pay particular attention to warranty on "slide outs" if contained, and the appliances.
Second, don't take the word of any sales person regarding the capacity of the tow vehicle, get the information from the vehicle dealer and the people that install the hitches and tow packages, as the RV dealers will tell you most anything to make the sale.
If buying from a private owner, look very careful for any water damage, on ceilings, in closets and lower side walls, and check roof condition for possible repairs.
These travel trailers are actually a great way to see the country, and save money while doing it. you wil also meet many very nice people along the way, but of course there's also the not so nice, a minority to be sure.
I hope you can find a good deal and wish you many happy travels.
My wife and I purchased a used motor home in 1993, and have since made three trips to Alaska, all through the western states and many national parks, countless trieps along the east coast and eight to Florida and Disney. A total of about 140k miles.
Check tires, they should all be the same brand and tread type. Trailers do require special tread design to track well and not sway.
Check the condition of the holding tanks for visible damage, and these things can have patches that will not hold long, and the tanks can run upwards of $400.00 each.
Again, if used from private owner, pay particular attention to area around slide outs, as they can be a source of expensive water damage, and make sure the slides work properly

Concept Vehicle $90.81 A concept vehicle or show vehicle is a car prototype made to showcase a concept, new styling, technology and more. They are often shown at motor shows to gauge customer reaction to new and radical designs which may or may not have a chance of being produced. General Motors designer Harley Earl is generally credited with inventing the concept, or show, car, and did much to popularize it through its traveling Motorama shows of the 1950s. Concept cars never go into production directly; in modern times all would have to undergo many changes before the design is finalized for the sake of practicality, safety and cost. A productionintent vehicle, as opposed to a concept vehicle, serves this purpose.
