| Recreational Vehicle Sale |
Class B Recreational Vehicles is commonly referred to as the van camper. It is built using a conventional van, to which either a raised roof has been added or had the back replaced by a low-profile body. Class B Recreational Vehicles are a good middle ground when you want something roomier and more powerful than a Class C motorhome, but you want to avoid the more costly Class A motorhomes.
Class B RVs are fully self-contained, with a refrigerator, sink, hot water, air conditioning and heater and comfortable sleeping facilities. You can use them on really long trips and be fully as comfortable as with a larger Recreational Vehicles, and yet it is cheaper on gas and more maneuverable in hard-to-drive-to areas. The average price of a Class B Motorhome is around $43,600 however; price starts from $33,000 to $75,000.
Built using a conventional van, to which either a raised roof has been added or had the back replaced by a low-profile body (aka coach-built). In Australia a Class B motorhome is quite distinct from a campervan, as it is based on a very large van that is, in turn, based on a truck. These motorhomes weigh up to 4500 kg and measure up to 6.4m in length.
Popular vehicle makes include Ford Trader and Isuzu NPR 300. Most Australian camper-vans are based on much smaller vehicles such as the Toyota Hiace, while the middle ground is now populated by larger vans that blur the definition of campervan or motorhome. These include Ford Transit, Mercedes Benz Sprinter, Fiat Ducato, and Iveco

All units sold in the US are required to be programmed. Please email for programming form at time of purchase. **Class B Transponder:Small in SizePlug and Play Transmits and Receives Water Resistant Remote SRM SwitchGPS Receiver Programming of boat data is required, including MMSI number, registered name, call sign (if available), boat size, type and GPS antenna mounting location. The FCC prohibits any person from knowingly entering an incorrect MMSI or other static data in a Class B AIS device - Section 31 FCC 08-208. The FCC requires that the static data, including MMSI, be entered by sellers and professional installers of Class B AIS devices, not the end user - Section 31 FCC 08-208. The Nauticast-B transponder is a plug and play AIS solution. Enjoy the benefits of the AIS system knowing larger commercial vessels are aware of your position increasing your personal safety while navigating at sea.Unlike receive only AIS devices which do not transmit vessel information to surrounding traffic, the Nauticast-B system allows you to virtually participate in neighboring vessels maneuvering activities for collision avoidance. Announce your identity, position, speed and course over ground to oncoming traffic allows for increased security that you will be seen in low visibility conditions.Avoid not being seen because of extreme weather conditions or busy vessel traffic environments. Generate a safety distress message to surrounding AIS equipment, including vessels, base-stations, and possibly SAR teams. All in all, it is a horizon expanding experience; especially in combination with an electronic chart system. |

Commercial ships, ocean-going vessels and recreational boats equipped with AIS transceivers broadcast AIS messages that include the vessel's name, course, speed and current navigation status.Raymarine's AIS650 is a class B AIS transceiver allowing you to transmit your data to other AIS equipped vessels, and receive their data for viewing right on your Raymarine multifunction display's radar or chartplotter screen.Raymarine's new AIS650 Class B Automatic Identification (AIS) transceiver brings boaters best-in-class features and performance in a package that's 50% smaller than previous generation AIS transceivers. The new AIS650 is engineered for seamless integration with Raymarine multifunction displays and offers multiple connection options including SeaTalkng, NMEA2000, NMEA0183 and USB. This unprecedented flexibility makes the AIS650 easy to integrate with all of your onboard electronics including MFD's, instruments, PC based navigation systems and more. The AIS650 features a dual-channel receiver system for fast acquisition and tracking of both Class A and Class B AIS traffic. It's also equipped with a state-of-the-art 50-channel GPS receiver with Receiver Autonomous Integrity Management (RAIM.) RAIM intelligently monitors the status and accuracy of the GPS system ensuring the vessel position transmitted by the AIS650 is of the highest level of accuracy possible. AIS650 is also fitted with a standard Secure Digital (SD) memory card slot, and AIS data recording capability.AIS650 also features both hardware and software enabled Silent Mode, which enables the captain to switch off the AIS transmitter for reasons of security or privacy. When connected to Raymarine MFD's, silent mode can be enabled or disabled at-will from any display on the network. This feature is most often employed by tournament captains who do not want to reveal the position of their hot fishing spot, but is also vital to cruising power and sailing vessels who may want to temporarily disable broadcasting their position out of concern for vessel security. AIS650 has a dedicated set of leads than can be employed to physically switch off the AIS transmitter beyond what the software mode allows. When used with Raymarine multifunction displays, the AIS650 supports Raymarine's exclusive Buddy Tracking feature, which allows you to save AIS targets of interest |
