It is easy to understand the benefits of this passage. In short, the benefits include free entry to leisure facilities and discount of 50% federal numerous charges, including fees for camping in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (COE) camping! This makes it of great interest to many RVers!

It's easy confused with this new form, perhaps this little piece of history and background, will be clearer. In 2004, a discount program for federal agencies called America the Beautiful Interagency step program was enacted. This law created the new pass.

My research has revealed that the password is known by a variety of names. The full name, apparently, is America the Beautiful Interagency Senior Pass. In some parts of government, is appointed as the main inter-Pass, or sometimes simply Senior Pass. The best I can tell, they all mean the same thing. Theoretically, these are not valid in any other place of federal facilities. However, I have heard, but not in the flesh, that state parks in some states use the card to justify a heavy discount on camping fees. My suggestion: Ask! The worst that could happen that the officer would say: "No, sorry. Not accept this card." Although this article is about the neck not on specific applications of it, I have a few observations that may be of interest to those who have not camped in a camping body engineers. In summary, some of them are very beautiful! And sometimes you can spend a night in one of those nice for under $ 10!

We camped at Grant River, Potosi, WI, which is Mississippi River. Also camped at Lake De Queen, De Queen, AR. We consider both very nice and recommend them. We learn that the Council of Europe Park near Thomson IL, is very nice too. My suggestion: Try some! If you find one you recommend to add a comment to this article so others can benefit too.

The America the Beautiful Interagency Senior Pass: a great name for a great business! You can recover the cost of the first time you visit a national park or two or spend a few nights of camping in a park Corps of Engineers. And it's good for the rest of your life!

On January 1, 2007, U.S. citizens or residents permanent U.S. age 62 or older can buy America the Beautiful Interagency Senior Pass. The cost is $ 10 card is good for the entire life of the owner.
