Need help with an old truck!?

One of my friends told me to help. We are planning a trip to Salem, OR to Phoenix, Arizona next month in an RV. Now the RV is a 1977 Dodge Sportsman Wild West. I want to know what kind of mileage is and what kind of engine work. I looked online, but not found nothing. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places? No booklet. He was in charge of another friend.

I'm not familiar with motor homes, but it was a truck cab and a large above the car, probably 440. If she has a truck cab and then flares a foot on each side and about the same at first is likely to be a 360. Both 360 and 440 are gas engines and fuel consumption will be poor from 9 to 12 MPG on 440 and maybe 10-11 to 12-13 on the 360 maybe a little better, but mileage really going to suffer in the mountains. Check hoses and belts before their departure, a friend has an independent repair shop and pulled on vehicles recreational often defective pipe or broken belt more often than anything else.
